The latest approach to fire barriers. As there are no vertical mullions required, it is possible to construct an entirely transparent fire protection barrier up to 4200 mm in height and along an unlimited length.
The glass pane joint is made using silicon grout with a width of 2 mm. The grout is black or grey.
The joint can be masked with decorative elements.
An essential feature of the system is the possibility of finishing walls on the perimeter with any material used for constructions purposes, such as wood, aluminium, stainless steels and gypsum.
This is the only solution, available on the market, which is suitable to construct fire-rated non-transparent glazing in any RAL or NCS colour without the need to bond another glass pane, which considerably reduces construction costs. It is also possible to construct a vault wall and bond up functional glass.
In addition, it is possible apply fire-rated or unclassified doors.
All-glass fire barriers are available in the fire classes EI 30, 60 and 90.
